What is a Senior Care Manager?

A senior care manager (aging life care professional, senior care advisor or geriatric care manager) assess an aging persons situation, health options for care, support living situations that fit their preferences, health and financial situation. The best approach is proactive planning and ongoing guidance rather than single or crisis events.

What does care management senior advising entail?

Care Managers help families understand options and assist in finding resources for needs. We provide assessment, education, information, and resources as well as advise and support. Services can be ongoing or episodic providing, which gives you the peace of mind that you have someone to turn to for help.
